Admission Procedure
Submit an enquiry form via our nursery website or contact us directly by telephone.

Arrange a visit to Small World Nursery, where a member of our management team will provide a tour, share detailed information about our services, and answer any questions you may have.

A registration form along with our Terms and Conditions will be sent to you via email for completion and signature. A non-refundable registration fee of £100 and a deposit of £150 is payable via bank transfer (This deposit will be returned or offset against your first month’s fees when your child joins the nursery).

Once payment is received, a receipt will be issued for your records.

You will then receive a formal offer email confirming your child’s place at the nursery. An agreed start date will be confirmed in writing, and settling-in sessions will be arranged to ensure a smooth transition.
Settling-In Procedure
At Small World Nursery, we understand that returning to work can be a significant transition for families. Our settling-in process is designed to provide reassurance, ensuring that parents feel confident their child is safe, happy, and well cared for by our dedicated team.
Initially, parents are invited to a paperwork session to meet the team and discuss important details such as daily routines and dietary requirements. Following this, children attend several free settling-in sessions at different times of the day, allowing them to experience various activities such as playtime, mealtime, nap time and to build a relationship with their key person. This gradual introduction helps children feel comfortable and supported as they adjust to their new environment.
