The children at Small World Nursery enjoy delicious, nutritious balanced meals, from breakfast, snacks, lunch and tea. Our Nursery cook produces a menu on a four-week rotation, this follows the guidelines of the Children’s Food Trust.

Mealtimes are an important occasion at Small World Nursery, we try and encourage independence by supporting the children to find their place to sit, helping set the tables and experiencing a range of different tastes and ingredients. We bring learning about the world and healthy eating together, with diverse cultures and events celebrated through food.

All the children have access to fresh, drinking water all day and they drink only milk and water during mealtimes.

Our nursery has been awarded a 5 which is the highest possible award with The Food Standards Agency.
