Our Pre-School Room is the largest and most dynamic space in the nursery, thoughtfully set up with key learning areas including role play, construction, maths, literacy, small world, and a creative zone — all designed to spark curiosity and support every child’s early education.

As this is the final year before starting Primary School, we introduce more structured learning in a fun and nurturing way, ensuring children feel confident and excited about the transition to “big school.”

What our Pre-School Room offers:

  • Registration time and a gentle introduction to routines
  • A wide range of curriculum-based activities across all areas of early learning
  • Use of an interactive whiteboard to build early ICT skills
  • Termly topics to keep learning fresh and engaging, with regular updates for parents on how to get involved
  • End-of-year transition forms completed to support a smooth handover to their new school
  • A dedicated outdoor area just for Pre-Schoolers, designed to encourage independence and active play
  • Our experienced team carefully balances adult-led learning with child-initiated play, helping each child become a confident communicator, independent thinker, and eager learner.
  • With a strong focus on school readiness and emotional well-being, our Pre-School Room sets the stage for a happy, confident start to primary school — and a lifelong love of learning!
