Our SEND Commitment
We understand that some children may need extra support during their early years. Our dedicated team works in close partnership with families and professionals to ensure every child receives the care and guidance they need.
At Small World Nursery, we offer:
Early Identification & Support
Our experienced practitioners closely observe and monitor each child’s development to identify any additional needs as early as possible.

Individualised Support Plans
When a child requires extra help, we create a personalised plan in consultation with parents and, if necessary, external professionals to support their learning and development.

A Dedicated SENDCo
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) works with staff, families, and outside agencies to ensure that appropriate strategies are in place for each child.

An Inclusive Learning Environment
We adapt our routines, environment, and resources to meet the needs of all children, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported.

Strong Partnerships with Parents
We recognise that parents are their child’s first and most important educators. We maintain open, regular communication and work together to support each child's progress.
Working with Professionals
When appropriate, we work closely with speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, health visitors, and other professionals to ensure that every child receives the right support at the right time.
